Jesse is a long time runner and cyclist who represents people who have been injured. A passionate advocate for respecting the right of cyclists on North Carolina roadways, Jesse’s work focuses on people who have been injured while riding their bicycles.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Jesse developed a love for cycling while training for triathlons in the mountains of Central Oregon. Jesse moved to North Carolina in 2009 to attend Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was actively involved in the Student Bar Association, Youth Advocacy Group, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and the Wake Civil Liberties Union. Jesse received his B.A. from Western Washington University.
Prior to joining Copeley Johnson & Groninger, Jesse was Counsel at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in Winston-Salem in the firm’s products liability group.
In addition to his athletic pursuits, Jesse enjoys woodworking, building his vinyl record collection, cooking, and hanging out with his cat.
