Attorney Leto Copeley has been elected President of the National Crime Victim Bar Association.

Attorney Leto Copeley of Copeley Johnson & Groninger PLLC in Durham has been elected President of the National Crime Victim Bar Association. The Association  provides technical support to attorneys representing crime victims in civil actions, refers crime victims to lawyers in their local area and work to increase general awareness about the availability of civil remedies for victims of crime.

The Bar Association is a program of the National Center For Victims Of Crime, located in Annapolis, Virginia.  The Center is the leading national resource and advocacy organization for crime victims and those who serve them.

Copeley is a trial lawyer who represents victims of crime, negligence and discrimination. She is listed in the Best Lawyers in America and has been named to the list of North Carolina Super Lawyers. She will serve a one-year term.

Copeley Johnson and Groninger PLLC is a plaintiffs‘ litigation firm with offices in Durham and Charlotte, North Carolina.  The firm’s areas of practice include personal injury, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, employment law and civil representation of victims of crime.
